Group Coaching

Phillip is a UK qualified level 3 coach and brings a wealth of experience from his playing days.

The Phillip DeFreitas Next Generation Cricket Development aims to get children and young adults active, healthy and involved in the wonderful world of cricket. The aim is to help the next generation of cricketers to fulfil their dreams and ambitions.

The objective of the sessions is to provide international coaching at the grassroots level which in turn will produce match winning cricketers at any level they play.

In our group session it is important for young cricketers to understand that cricket is a “team sport”. Phillip will expect team work to be the centre of all activities taking place during all group coaching sessions. We work on four fundamentals:

A - Positive Atmosphere
B - Positive Attitude
C - Positive Support
D - Positive Encouragement

We want our players to feel, think and act as a team. We will not tolerate any negative attitude.
